Selection and admission process
The selection process is based on comprehensive analysis of the documentation received and other elements and aims to have a highly qualified, motivated class capable of contributing to a dynamic and stimulating learning environment. We assess not only whether you are the right profile for EMMAS, but also whether EMMAS meets your expectations.
Admission involves a rigorous selection process that evaluates the professional background, motivation and personal aptitude of those who apply.
Each year, EMMAS welcomes leading figures in the health and social welfare sector: professionals, consultants, people in executive and managerial roles, who choose to embark on the EMMAS journey with strong motivation and a cultural vision oriented toward the renewal of the health and social welfare system.
Selection thus ensures the formation of a class in which talented individuals can not only pursue their professional and personal goals but also enrich the classroom learning experience.

Admissions results
As soon as the selection process is completed you will receive a formal letter from the Admissions Committee, notifying you of the decision. Selection results are never communicated by telephone. All decisions made by the Admissions committee are final.

How to apply
The application for EMMAS 2027–2028 is available exclusively online and must be completed carefully, providing detailed information about your personal and professional experiences, your motivations for joining our Master’s program, and other aspects of your profile. Once the application form has been completed, you may submit it to the Admissions Service by confirming the submission online.
Please note that the Online Application portal is a separate platform from the SDA Bocconi website (www.sdabocconi.it); therefore, a new registration will be required.
- All required documents must be uploaded to the dedicated sections of the Online Application portal and submitted to the Admissions team.
- Applicants may check the progress of their application by accessing the portal with their credentials and monitoring the application status directly through the online platform.
- Additional documents may also be uploaded after the initial submission of the application.

We Are Looking for Highly Motivated and Determined Candidates
The selection process for EMMAS 2027–2028 follows a rolling admissions system and takes place from May 2026 until 23 February 2027. Admission results will be communicated within a few weeks after the submission of the application and completion of the selection process.
Due to the limited number of places available, we strongly recommend starting the admissions process well in advance of the Master’s start date.
To maximize your chances of admission, we encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.
