Selection and admission process
The selection process is based on the analysis of various professional, motivational and curricular elements with the aim of understanding the suitability of the Executive Master in Finance to meet your needs and, at the same time, to verify whether your profile, within the EMF class, is akin with what is required by the teaching formula and performance evaluation that involves group assignments (one for each course) for more than 50 % of the overall judgement.

The EMF Admission Application
To apply for the EMF program, you must complete and submit the online admission application after registering on the admissions portal, through which you will receive your personal PIN and password.
The selection process for the Executive Master in Finance – EMF X (2026–2027 edition) will take place between March 2025 and January 2026.
Given the limited number of places available, starting the admission process early increases your chances of success and of obtaining scholarships awarded to outstanding profiles within the deadlines set for each selection round. You may submit the application by the deadline of the relevant round and complete it later with the required documents. Submitting the application within the deadlines and applying for scholarships and tuition waivers ensures your eligibility for consideration.
The Admissions portal is a platform separate from the website www.sdabocconi.it; therefore, you will need to complete a new registration.
To submit your application to the EMF program, you must complete the online admission form. Please fill it out carefully to provide all necessary information regarding your personal and professional experience, as well as your motivations for choosing this Master.
You will be asked to select your specialization track at the time of the application, and you may also indicate additional tracks of interest in order of preference. Please read the general information contained within the application carefully.

Admissions results
During the 4 rounds of selection, upon completion of the admission process you will receive a formal letter from the Admissions committee, notifying you of the admission decision. Selection results are never communicated by telephone. All decisions made by the Admissions committee are final.
The selection process can result in one of the following outcomes:
- Admission: you will receive the official letter of admission and contract for participation in EMF, which you must confirm by the deadline specified by the committee. If no more places are available for your Track of specialization, the school may offer you an alternative among other Tracks, place you on a waiting list, or offer you admission to the next edition.
Admission to the program is valid for the year the application is submitted. However, you can request deferment to the following year, but approval of deferment is on a case-by-case decision by the Admissions committee.
- Non-admission: the selection process evaluates not only the individual profile but also the overall composition and specialty of Track of the EMF class group. While we acknowledge the significant effort all candidates invest in the application and the selection process, we do not provide personalized feedback to non-admitted candidates.
How to apply
The Application for EMF 2026-2027 is available exclusively online and must be completed with accurate and precise information regarding your personal and professional experiences, your reasons for attending the program, and other aspects of your personality.
At the time of application you must indicate the specialization track you have chosen, possibly indicating additional tracks of interest in order of preference. Please read carefully the general information within the application itself.
Please note that the online application portal is a separate platform, so your SDA Bocconi website (www.sdabocconi.it) credentials cannot be used. Please proceed with a new registration:
- All required documents must be uploaded to the relevant section of the Online application portal and submitted to the Admissions team.
- Applicants can check the receipt of their application and monitor its status directly through the online platform.
- Additional documents can be uploaded after the initial application submission

The selection process for the Executive Master in Finance - EMF (10th Edition 2026-2027) is rolling and runs from March 2025 to January 2026.
Given the limited number of available places, starting the program admission process in a timely manner ensures a greater likelihood of success and receipt of scholarships dedicated to profiles of excellence and awarded by the deadlines in the rounds specified in the calls for applications. You can submit your application by the deadline of the round concerned and complete it later with the required documents. Submission by the deadline, with adherence to the calls for scholarships/exemptions, guarantees participation in selection.
