2026 Edition
The Assembly will take place on 3 and 4 December 2026, on the new campus of Bocconi University, a leading European institution committed to generating knowledge that matters and delivering cutting-edge business research. SDA Bocconi School of Management will host the Conference on its state-of-the-art campus, an innovative urban space, a meeting point for excellence in research, education, and architecture.

The Department of Management and Technology of Bocconi University
The Department of Management & Technology is a community of scholars and instructors who collectively aim at providing cutting edge research, high teaching standard, and active service to the University and the broader community of academics, business leaders, and policy-makers.
The department covers all broad areas in management, and particularly Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources and Careers, Information Systems, International Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Organization and Management Theory, Organizational Behavior, Social Issues in Management and Sustainability, Strategic Management, and Technology and Innovation Management.

ICRIOS
Funded and supported by a donation from Milan’s Romeo e Enrica Invernizzi Foundation, ICRIOS is a research center at Bocconi University created to be a reference point for cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary and collaborative research on innovation, organization, strategy and entrepreneurship, with the explicit objective to influence in a significant way both the academic debate and management practice.
ICRIOS promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing at any stage of the research process, especially among scholars in diverse and complementary fields, based across nations, and working in different research traditions. ICRIOS fellows are selected among recognized experts in their field of study.

Paper Submission
We seek submissions of rigorous academic papers that have the potential for publication in top management journals and that are aligned with the themes of the assembly. Presenters will have the opportunity to receive feedback from leading scholars and participate in the assembly discussions. By submitting a paper, you commit to presenting it in person in Milan upon invitation. The invitation is personal and cannot be transferred to a coauthor.
Call for Papers
The Fourth Bocconi Assembly for Innovation and Cooperation
BAIC is a forum for research on topics of innovation and cooperation, broadly connected to the active research interests of faculty in the Department of Management and Technology and the SDA School of Management. The conference will explore various facets of technology change, social and organizational shifts, as well as global dynamics, offering a platform for designing future research agendas and collaborations. These topics remain deep theoretical domains with important connections to the most pressing business and societal challenges of our time. The assembly features scholars and industry experts in two days of stimulating keynotes, panel discussions, paper presentations, and interactive sessions.
The conference is invitation only but with several paper sessions selected competitively from submissions. Full papers can be submitted at the link below.
The conference will be hosted at the SDA Bocconi School of Management state-of-the-art campus, a hub for excellence in research, education, and architectural innovation. This vibrant urban space offers the perfect backdrop for stimulating creative dialogue.
