Action Research

Action research is used for solving real problems, in real situations. Its primary goal is to generate findings and conclusions that are relevant for practitioners. It draws on practical situations and experiences, rather than on experimental studies.
Action research has a double goal. One objective is to generate knowledge directly useful to a group of people and firms. The second objective is to empower people and firms at a second and deeper level through the process of constructing and using their own knowledge: during the action research process they learn and use this knowledge for the benefit of other members.
