Una PA più semplice e agile

Streamlining Public Administration Organizations
As public administration undergoes profound transformation, public sector managers are increasingly expected to lead complex organizations, coordinate diverse structures and professional roles, make the best use of available resources, and deliver effective services to citizens, businesses, and other public institutions. In this context, simplification is not simply about reducing procedures: it means strengthening the organization's managerial capabilities by creating clearer organizational structures, processes, responsibilities, and decision-making mechanisms.
Specifically, this program will enable you to:
- Redesign overly fragmented or complex organizational structures, reducing overlaps across departments while improving coordination, decision-making, and managerial accountability.
- Lead more flexible and collaborative organizations by breaking down organizational silos and overcoming hierarchical rigidities that slow down decision-making, cross-functional integration, and responsiveness to stakeholders.
- Streamline processes and administrative procedures characterized by excessive steps, controls, approvals, and duplication, distinguishing essential compliance requirements from activities that add complexity without creating value.
- Improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of services delivered to citizens, businesses, and other public institutions by identifying priorities for action and focusing resources on the most critical areas.
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority across organizational units and individuals, reducing overlaps, accountability gaps, and unnecessary handoffs between departments while strengthening managerial accountability.
- Realign roles and capabilities with new processes and organizational priorities, enabling more effective people management aligned with the administration's strategic objectives and public value creation.
