Risk management in sanità
L'internal audit come strumento di gestione strategica e integrata dei rischi aziendali
Developing internal audit skills for systemic risk management
Over the past two decades, Italian healthcare companies have developed expertise in managing specific risks. Recently, thanks to stimulus from regional authorities, the internal audit function was created, initially for certification of financial statements, with the potential for systemic management of business risks by enhancing existing expertise.
Risk management in sanità provides an overview of the opportunities and critical issues related to the introduction and development of internal audit in healthcare companies. It shares tools for risk analysis and management, increasing awareness of the value of internal audit as a business advisory tool for continuous improvement and achievement of strategic goals.
Those who participate will develop a systemic view in the management of business risks in healthcare, acquiring skills in analyzing the system of internal controls and consolidating knowledge of the logic and tools for governing business risks. It will also reinforce the critical thinking needed to effectively introduce the internal auditing function into their organizations.

Who should apply
Those involved in, or aspiring to become involved in, internal audit in the healthcare sector, strategic managements, heads of departments, areas and organizational units, and to the heads of business departments involved in risk management.
To promote a widespread corporate culture, participation is also open to operational levels.
No prior knowledge or specific requirements are necessary to participate in the program.
