ESG e sostenibilità: implicazioni legali per le imprese

Managing the implications of sustainability in the enterprise
Sustainability and consideration of ESG (environment, social, governance) factors are now at the center of political, economic and social debate. This topic has also become increasingly relevant to legal experts, given the proliferation of national and European legislation on the subject. The course responds to the pressing need for legal practitioners, whether law firms or corporate legal departments, to understand and guide the change taking place, preventing the risk of litigation and liability.
The program offers a comprehensive review of current and future regulations, as well as the most recent case law developments, analyzing how they affect corporate management and compliance and highlighting the new responsibilities and opportunities arising from the shift from a purely soft law to a hard law dimension. In addition, the course explores the legal implications of climate change litigation and sustainability litigation in general, as well as the impacts of sustainability on the financial services industry, preparing participants to navigate the complexities of sustainability in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Who should apply
The course is aimed at learning more, with a special focus on legal profiles, about obligations and responsibilities related to new European and national ESG and sustainability legislation. The course, which is broken down into corporate, environmental, criminal, labor and financial market law, is aimed particularly at in-house corporate lawyers and attorneys, as well as managers, entrepreneurs, public authority figures, accountants and consultants in general who are interested in an in-depth, 360-degree, analysis of this fundamental area of economic activity.
