Artificial Intelligence for value creation in finance

Finance and accounting

This three-day executive program gives participants a rigorous, practice-oriented understanding of how artificial intelligence is transforming finance and how finance, in turn, is shaping the development of AI. It starts by demystifying what AI can and cannot do, and retraces seventy years of innovation, from the 1956 Dartmouth workshop and the first statistical credit scoring models to today’s generative and agentic AI.

Participants open the black box of the models behind modern AI and learn to evaluate them critically. They examine concrete
applications in banking and credit and in asset management, private equity and venture capital funds, together with the risks these applications raise: model risk, bias and fairness, explainability, dependence on a few technology providers, and
regulatory compliance, including the EU AI Act. The program also analyzes the reverse relationship: how venture capital,
private credit and public markets are financing the AI boom and steering which technologies and companies win.

Through cases, guest speeches by AI-fintech founders and industry frontrunners, and hands-on labs in which they build
their first financial agent, participants leave able to identify high-value AI use cases, assess their economics and risks, and design a realistic roadmap to bring AI into their own organization.

Who should apply

The program is designed for senior leaders who shape how banks, insurers, asset managers and investors
adopt, govern and finance artificial intelligence. It addresses board members and C-suite executives, including CEOs, CFOs, CROs and CIOs, who set strategy, allocate capital and define risk appetite, and the innovation, data and digital transformation leaders who turn AI initiatives into measurable results. It is equally relevant for investment professionals in
asset and wealth management, private equity, venture capital and private credit, for family offices and institutional investors, and for founders and executives of fintech and AI ventures. It also serves advisors, supervisors and policymakers who need a rigorous, independent view of where AI creates value and where it creates risk.

No programming background is required.
