SDA Bocconi Custom Programs

Custom Corporate Schools
We partner with organizations to co-design comprehensive, tailored training systems aligned with strategic objectives. These programs integrate organization-wide or ecosystem-based learning architectures that foster innovation and alignment across the value chain. Multi-level learning pathways combine knowledge transfer, skill development, and cultural transformation, ensuring strong contextual relevance and practical application.

Target Academies
Target Academies are tailored learning programs designed for specific roles or career stages within an organization. SDA Bocconi covers the co-design process from needs assessment to delivery and follow-up, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Programs typically combine theoretical learning, experiential activities, and the engagement of internal faculty.

Content Academies
Content Academies focus on developing key capabilities across functional or cross-functional areas. Each academy is co-designed with the organization and may include customized learning pathways, blended formats, and experiential activities to ensure practical application. They can be structured as Functional Academies or Cross-functional Academies according to organizational needs.

Single Custom Programs
SDA Bocconi develops fully tailored programs to address specific strategic priorities, business challenges, or skill development needs. Each program follows a structured co-design process, including needs analysis, program design with customized content and methods, delivery by SDA Bocconi faculty and, when appropriate, internal or external experts, and evaluation to ensure measurable impact.

 

Multi-Tool

Our teaching methodologies combine a variety of formats — from experiential learning to digital solutions — adapting to different contexts, participant profiles, and strategic objectives. Training days are structured to alternate between moments dedicated to deepening concepts, models, tools, and professional methods, and moments of “action learning,” where participants apply their knowledge through individual or group exercises.

This blended approach aims to:

  • Go beyond traditional teaching by leveraging participants’ experiences to identify areas for enrichment and alignment with business priorities and specific role requirements.
  • Build a common language and a coherent, distinctive approach through discussion, facilitation, and reflection on shared experiences.
  • Equip participants with tools to reassess their skills and cultivate a habit of self-analysis, enabling learning from their own experience.

 

Multi-Content

Each program integrates a wide range of topics, skills, and disciplines. We address cross-functional needs, allowing different departments to benefit from content tailored to their specific challenges, combining soft skills with technical expertise.

Our educational pathways are not merely about acquiring knowledge; they are designed to leverage cutting-edge research produced by our specialized Research Centers, Knowledge Labs, and Observatories. This allows us to ensure that the learning experience is grounded in rigorous academic insights, which are seamlessly transferred into actionable practices.

Our approach transcends traditional learning, using knowledge management as a strategic lever to foster systemic change across the organization. By addressing diverse topics within corporate schools, content/target academies or a single program, we enable organizations to align their capabilities with strategic goals, breaking down silos and driving transformation at all levels.
