SDA Bocconi School of Management is proud to announce a new partnership with Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (UniSR). Starting last year, our “Executive decisions in hospital management: a simulation experience program” was officially integrated into the Global Health Track of UniSR’s prestigious International Medical Doctor Program (IMDP).

This collaboration brought together the academic excellence of SDA Bocconi and UniSR to provide future medical leaders with a unique opportunity to experience the complexities of hospital management and healthcare strategy in an international context. Through an immersive team-based simulation, participants faced real-world executive challenges—from mission and service design to financial sustainability and patient-centered innovation—while learning to make strategic decisions in evolving healthcare systems.

This educational experience, , allowed me to engage with real managerial challenges and experience the complexity of hospital decision-making. It was a realistic exercise in leadership and responsibility, one that will enrich my future clinical path.”

By embedding this simulation into the Global Health Track, UniSR reaffirms its commitment to equipping students with interdisciplinary skills that complement their clinical education, preparing them to become global leaders at the intersection of medicine, management, and policy.
