Leaders Talk: the Rome Campus launches a new forum for Italian leadership

The Rome Campus of SDA Bocconi School of Management hosted last night the inaugural edition of Leaders Talk, a series of closed-door meetings designed to bring together leading figures from Italy's public, economic and institutional life. The format has a clear purpose: to approach leadership through real decisions and their concrete impact on the system, focusing the conversation on choices that directly affect people, organisations and institutions.
The opening evening brought together Gabriele Fava, President of INPS, and Francesco Caio, Chairman of Caio Digital Partners. The discussion was opened and guided by Gimede Gigante, Director of the SDA Bocconi Rome Campus, who framed the spirit of the format and the theme of leadership as the capacity to steer decisions that have tangible consequences for the wider system. The conversation was moderated by Monica Setta, journalist and RAI presenter. The sustainability of the welfare system proved an ideal testing ground for this approach: a subject where strategic choices are measured directly against issues that concern young people, work and business.
Leaders Talk joins Leggere il Presente, the cultural series that the Campus hosts on a regular basis and that has already brought to Rome some of the most authoritative voices in the Italian economic and institutional landscape, exploring the major themes of our time through the lens of a book. Two formats with different purposes and structures, united by the same conviction: that the Rome Campus is not only a place of excellence in management education, but a space where ideas meet those who are called upon to translate them into decisions.
With this dual vocation, the Campus continues to establish itself as a permanent laboratory for Italian leadership — a context in which the quality of thinking and the quality of dialogue reinforce one another.
