The Il Leader Coach Online Live program at SDA Bocconi School of Management has received the Bocconi Teaching Award in the Innovation in Teaching – Blended Learning category, the recognition through which Bocconi University celebrates excellence in teaching each year by recognizing Faculty members who stand out for the quality of their teaching and their ability to innovate the learning experience.

The award was presented to the Leader as Coach program, directed by Beatrice Manzoni, Associate Professor of Practice at SDA Bocconi, for its innovative approach to supporting participants in developing coaching and leadership capabilities.

The course offers a personalized, collaborative online learning experience focused on the practical application of learning in professional contexts. Its instructional design integrates self-assessment, Hogan Assessment, individual executive coaching sessions, peer coaching, and a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities, fostering progressive learning and continuous reflection on participants' leadership styles. In addition, live sessions are delivered from SDA Bocconi's Immersive Room, a physical space designed to provide an enhanced and highly interactive online learning experience.

Among the aspects recognized by the award committee is the program's structure, which unfolds over approximately six weeks. This format enables participants to progressively apply what they learn in their own professional environments, reinforcing capabilities and behaviours through a personal development journey built over time.

The award confirms the value of a learning model that combines individual coaching, peer learning, and real-world application, contributing to the evolution of Executive Education methodologies and online learning.
