Ciao Francesco
Yesterday, our beloved Professor Francesco Daveri, passed away.
With the greatest braveness, he embraced the challenge of being the first SDA Professor of Macroeconomics Practice, alongside leading the School’s most important program, the Master in Business Administration. Our community has lost the dearest of friends, a passionate and loved teacher, an eclectic intellectual, but, more importantly, a kind and caring soul, always generous in transmitting enthusiasm and a positive view of life.
His loving heart left a beacon of light in us all, colleagues and staff, and in all the people who were fortunate to meet him in SDA Bocconi’s classrooms. We will not ever forget his humanity, his passion for teaching and economics, and his integrity.
