Our MBA makes the top 10 in Europe
THE BRAND-NEW QS GLOBAL MBA RANKINGS 2018 PLACES SDA BOCCONI #10 IN EUROPE AND #22 WW.
The SDA Bocconi MBA debuts in the new QS rankings at 10th place in Europe (out of 70 schools), and at 22nd worldwide (out of 232). The report by QS, an international provider of specialized higher education and career information, includes many new indicators (previous MBA rankings were based only on the opinion of recruiters and academics), specifically: Employability (40%), Return on Investment (20%), Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes (15%), Thought Leadership (15%) and Diversity (10%).
Current metrics allow a wider base of contributors to take part in the QS rating, and a well-rounded, multi-faceted picture of program characteristics and assets to emerge from massive data collection. Of particular impact for our MBA are the Return on Investment and Thought Leadership indicators: the first one places SDA Bocconi #5 in Europe and #8 worldwide (taking into consideration both 10-year ROI and Payback time), while we are in the European Top 10 for Thought Leadership, a parameter which highlights the School's Academic Reputation and Research Impact.
“The quality of teaching is closely linked to the quality of research carried out by our faculty,” says Giuseppe Soda, Dean of SDA Bocconi. "That's why the result obtained in this ranking rewards us twice. The robustness and relevance of our research activities reinforce our scientific reputation and bring our programs closer to the needs of employers, confirming the success of our investments to increase the employability of our MBA graduates".
The QS ranking marks the close of a positive year for SDA Bocconi, the only Italian B-School included in the European Top 10 (and in some cases Top 5) in all the most important international rankings - Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Economist and Forbes.
