The "Leadership Series" started on January 20th with, the President of Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso
The new edition of SDA Bocconi’s "Leadership Series" for the 2014 Full-Time MBA students started on Monday 20th January. Our special guest for the day was Carlo De Benedetti, President of Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso.
The "Leadership Series" offers MBA students the opportunity to measure their skills and experience against those of top managers from large multinational companies, and to see how theoretical models learnt on the program translate into managerial practice.
De Benedetti has been the President of Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso since 2006. As well as being a successful entrepreneur, he also upheld a number of key management roles throughout his career. In 1976 he founded Cir (Compagnie Industriali Riunite), of which he is still the Honorary President, and later on he was appointed Managing Director and President of Olivetti.
