SDA Bocconi joins the Academy of Management campaign against racism and discrimination

Milano, 15 June 2020
In line with the foundational values of SDA Bocconi School of Management and aware of the role played as an educational institution, we endorse the message of the Academy of Management, the worldwide association of management scholars, on the campaign against all forms of racism and discrimination:

“We condemn racism and the abuse of power. We are firmly committed to respecting the dignity and personal worth of all members and the human and civil rights of all individuals. Our efforts focus on understanding, challenging, and dismantling systemic discrimination; finding peaceful ways to express diverse views; and protecting the vulnerable members of our community.

As educators, we play a vital role in supporting our students and teaching them respect for diverse perspectives. As researchers, we create knowledge that brings about positive change for individuals, organizations, and societies. And as a professional community, we have a responsibility to share and disseminate that knowledge”.

With this endorsement we are confident to interpret the spirit of all our community as we strongly believe that together we can create a better future.
