IPMA Global Research Awards
The excellence of SDA Bocconi’s researchers produces winning results. In every sense. The latest in time has been achieved by Roya Derakhshan, a junior lecturer in Leadership, Organization & Human Resources, who won the IPMA Global Young Research Award for her “Opening the Black Box of Local Communities: Exploring their Perception and Judgement” project.
For the second year in row, IPMA Global Research Awards have been particularly successful, with a large number of applicants in both categories – Research Award and Young Researcher Award.
The evaluation criteria followed by the twenty-two judges who selected applicants in each category concerned research problem, research processes, research results and researcher profile. Each application has been evaluated by at least three judges and the final ranking was made during a virtual judges plenary meeting.
The award ceremony will take place on 31st October, live on television because of Covid-19 restrictions, with world-class speakers. During the ceremony, the judges will present the motivations of their decisions.
IPMA - International Project Management Association gathers over 70 associations in the world and conducts an annual awards program rewarding excellence and innovation in project management and research projects. Selection criteria for projects are based on the global standard IPMA Project Excellence Baseline©.
Research Award winners come from various disciplines other than project management, but all have contributed to the development of project, program or portfolio management. Besides receiving a high international honor, Winners achieve significant visibility on a global scale, systematic feedback about the strengths and improvement potential of the individual and/or project performance as well as interesting marketing opportunities for the results obtained.
