QS MBA Rankings by Specialization 2019: SDA Bocconi in the top ten
QS MBA Rankings by Specialization 2019
Specializations matter, and sometimes they reward. This is confirmed by the results of SDA Bocconi in the QS MBA Rankings by Specialization 2019, which places our Full-Time MBA in the top ten worldwide, 10th out of 250 schools for Marketing and even 4th for Operations Management. In Europe the Program ranks 3rd in both specialisations. There are also remarkable rankings for other evaluation areas such as Information Management (17th worldwide and 6th in Europe), Technology (19th and 6th respectively) and Consulting (22nd and 5th), just to name a few.
Rankings by QS TopMBA website, one of the most accredited globally, are based on a weighted score – 40% of which depends on the Global MBA Rankings (where SDA Bocconi's MBA is 23rd worldwide, 10th in Europe and first in Italy by far) and 60% on three indicators referring to specific industries or functions: Career Placements, i.e. the share and absolute number of MBA graduates employed in specific industries and/or functions; Employer Reputation, the value attributed by hiring companies to SDA Bocconi’s graduates adjusted for industry, functions and desired skills; and Research Strength, the quality of the research developed by each School in the business disciplines associated with each specialization.
The success of our Full-Time MBA is also confirmed by the evaluation achieved on individual indicators, such as 92 out of 100 for the Research Strength in Marketing and Consulting. “This is an important recognition for SDA Bocconi”, highlights Dean, Giuseppe Soda, “because it confirms our strong belief that scientific research is an essential element for top-level management education”.
