Scholarships and tuition waivers
Each year, multiple merit-based scholarships and tuition waivers are available for outstanding candidates, made possible by the ongoing support of companies and organizations, as well as of our alums and current students. Student and alum contributions form the foundation of SDA Bocconi’s commitment to supporting future leaders—individuals who will drive global change, starting in the classroom and continuing throughout their professional journeys. In this spirit, scholarship recipients may consider giving back to help the school develop new initiatives, enhance the program, and strengthen the community. Even a small contribution can make a lasting impact and change lives.
Tuition waivers and scholarships are typically awarded before the start of the program. A dedicated commission determines the number of awards and the selection criteria for full or partial tuition waivers. Decisions are final and communicated to recipients according to the deadlines outlined in each “notice of competition” and no later than the start of the program. Tuition waivers cannot be combined; however, recipients may decline a waiver if awarded one of a higher amount. Admission to the MBA program is independent of the awarding of any scholarship or tuition waiver.
Applications for tuition waivers are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Analysis of academic and professional record
- Analysis of the requirements indicated in the specific notice of competition
- Results of the MBA selection process
To be eligible for the scholarships/tuition waivers you must:
- Have submitted your application for the 2026-2027 MBA Program
- Review the pre-requisites for each scholarship/tuition waiver
- Apply for the scholarship or tuition waiver, once available, on the online Application Portal by the indicated deadlines (multiple applications are allowed).
You can apply to the scholarship/tuition waivers even if your MBA selection process is still in progress.
If you meet more than one requirement, you can apply to multiple scholarships/ tuition waivers.
Tuition waivers Full-time MBA 2026-2027
- Tuition Waivers starting “from 60%” of the program fee require a minimum GMAT score of 615 (equivalent to 670 under the previous GMAT format).
- Full Tuition Waivers require a minimum GMAT score of 645 (equivalent to 700 under the previous GMAT format).
Grants ranging from 10% to 50% of the total program cost may be awarded upon admission to our MBA.
To apply for these grants, please select "Partial Merit-Based Tuition Waiver" from the list of available scholarships in your application. We have a total budget of €1.000.000 allocated for these awards, so we strongly encourage early applications to increase your chances of being considered.
