The International Private Capital (IPC) Hub is part of the ICE – Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center at SDA Bocconi and aims to foster innovation in capital markets as a key driver of the real economy and the country’s growth.

The International Private Capital (IPC) Hub is part of the ICE – Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center at SDA Bocconi and aims to foster innovation in capital markets as a key driver of the real economy and the country’s growth.
The Hub is dedicated to analyzing the interaction between capital and innovative companies, with the objective of developing the specialized skills required in the private capital sector. Its focus is on enhancing know-how, understanding and best practices related to investment activities in unlisted and innovative SMEs, as well as on improving knowledge of capital markets dedicated to SMEs and innovation, while promoting a new entrepreneurial culture.
The Hub therefore seeks to strengthen the role of the ICE – Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center as a national centre of expertise serving capital markets and unlisted companies.
Based at the SDA Bocconi Campus in Rome – a strategic platform for dialogue among academia, institutions and businesses – the development program includes the implementation of a range of initiatives in the capital city through a modular approach designed to ensure their robustness and relevance while maximizing their visibility in the market.

Ecosystem
ICE - Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship Center aims to establish an ecosystem where it plays a pivotal role, with a specific focus on the interaction between capital and companies, fostering the specialized skills required in the private capital sector.
The IPC Hub will:
- Address research and study initiatives based on the needs expressed by participants, aligning with market demands.
- Enhance participants’ growth by introducing them to new models for managing and developing innovative companies and SMEs, with a view to accessing private markets.
- Provide participants with regular research findings, workshops, and educational programs.

Cooperation for Value Creation
Creation of value based on a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among the key players in financial services innovation, promoting the deployment of patient capital (institutional investors) and private savings into equity investments and real economy projects that generate growth and sustainability.

Enhancing the work of ICE SDA Bocconi researchers, connecting them with the subjects of their research and creating new sources of funding for research activities (output: scientific report).
