Xi Wu is a Junior Researcher at SDA Bocconi School of Management.Ā
Xi's primary research interest is in the area of information economics. The core question that motivates her research is: How do technologies influence the process by which firms capture and create values? In particular, her work tries to understand knowledge creation, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Information Technology (IT) industries. Her research uses interdisciplinary approaches such as econometrics, analytical modeling, and machine learning. Her work has been presented at leading conferences such as the Conference on Information Systems and Technology, the International Conference of Information Systems, the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, and the Strategic Management Society Conference.
She earned aĀ Bachelor of Engineering in Automation fromĀ Central South University, aĀ Master of Engineering in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent Systems fromĀ Huazhong University of Science and Technology, aĀ Master of Science in Business Analytics fromĀ The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration (Management Information Systems) from Temple University.
