Paola Castelli

Paola Castelli is a Senior Lecturer in Banking and Insurance at SDA Bocconi School of Management. At SDA Bocconi, she is Director of the executive programme for the insurance industry Insurance Manager and of the multi-year research project Edufin Index for Alleanza Assicurazioni. She also serves as lecturer and programme coordinator in numerous custom-designed programmes for banks and insurance companies. She has directed, among others, the SDA Bocconi–Capgemini Observatory Insurance Regulation Operational Transformation; the Master in Banking and Business Administration for Intesa Sanpaolo; the international programmes Compliance Academy and Jump into the Future for the Generali Group; the Actuarial Academy, Bancassurance Academy and Wealth Management Academy for the BNP Paribas Group; the Bancassurance Excellence Program for the CNP Group; and the Insurance Executive Program for Reale Mutua Assicurazioni. Her research focuses on project management, coaching, knowledge management, change management, time management, organisational culture and organisational behaviour, with a specific emphasis on the insurance and banking sectors. She is the author of numerous essays and articles on these topics. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Economia & Management, Insurance Review and Sviluppo e Organizzazione. She received the Excellence in Innovation Award from the Custom Executive Education Division (Banks and Financial Intermediaries) in 2008 and 2012. Paola holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. She has obtained the international PMP (Project Management Professional) certification issued by the Project Management Institute and the international Coaching certification EMMC EQA Foundation.
