Francesco Bellieni is Junior Lecturer of Procurement and Supply Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Since 2022, Francesco has actively participated in the research of the SDA Procurement Lab at SDA Bocconi. Through the study and application of the latest theories and tools, the Procurement Lab, in coordination with a group of industry-leading Italian and international companies, researches innovative solutions and best practices within the field of procurement.
His research activities focus on procurement, supply chain and sustainability.
He gained international experience within the Supply Chain field working in Asia, Europe and North America, mainly within fast-paced environments for premium retail fashion brands. As Director, Global Supply Chain he has been responsible for procurement, S&OP, demand and supply planning while building a global Supply Chain Team. He has also experience in managing the implementation of new processes and software to increase end-to-end supply chain visibility.Ā
In 2011 he received the award āTelecom Italia M-Payments, for creation of innovative mobile services and experiencesā.
Francesco earned his Bachelor degree in Business Economics and Management from Bocconi University with a campus abroad experience at National University of Singapore. Subsequently he earned a MSc in Management from Bocconi University and an MBA at SDA Bocconi. Francesco is married with one child and is passionate about volleyball and skiing.
