Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Research for Health and Social Care Management at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is professor of Public Management at Bocconi University.
At SDA Bocconi she is involved in many executive education initiatives dealing with the health care sector. She conducted numerous research and training projects for both private and public healthcare institutions at the local and regional level.
Her research interests focus on integrated and transitional care, health policies and management issues of primary care, chronic disease models and management at national and international level. Her research interests also include the accounting area and more specifically budgeting and managerial accounting of healthcare authorities and public institutions. Her current research activity addresses three main research questions. The first is how to improve chronic patient care through the integration and redesign of services. The second focus on the use of accounting information in decision-making processes and in performance measurement in health care sector. The third research question focuses on the evaluation of health policies for chronic patients care at national level.
She is the author of numerous articles published on the themes of chronic care models and integrated care. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals on healthcare management and integrated care (Health Service management research - HSMR, the International Journal of Integrated care - IJIC) and national journals and books such as Mecosan (Management e Economia Sanitaria). She also makes regular contributions to the OASI Report (Observatory on Healthcare Organizations and Policies in Italy).
She holds the Bachelor of Science in Economic and Social Sciences (2014) and the MSc degree in Economics and Management of Public and International Institutions from Bocconi University (2016). She is married with one daughter.
