Curriculum Vitae

Simona Cuomo is Associate Professor of Practice of Leadership, Organization and Human Resources at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

At SDA Bocconi, she was Coordinator of the Diversity Management Lab and Lead Coach. She Has conducted numerous research studies, workshops, conferences, training, consultancy and method-target and multi work out in these areas by developing relationships with major multinational companies of the Italian market in the service sector (banking, insurance, telephony) and manufacturing (energy, food, car).

Her research activities focus on the management of diversity in its different shades (gender, age, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, fusion or political-union membership etc.), inclusion support practices (smart working, work & life balance, parenting policies)  and issues related to listening, enhancing and managing people in businesses (leadership, people management, negotiation, public speaking, team management, listening, feedback management and clashes).She studies and uses creative forms and experiential forms in both training and coaching. 

She is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject. Her works have been published in Economia & Management and Sviluppo & Organizzazione, among others. She is psychologist, counselor and professional coach. She is referee for the journal Economia & Management and member of many scietific commitees.

Simona earned a Degree in Political Science specialization in Social Psychology from the Catholic University in Milan, a Degree in Psychology from the University of Bicocca in Milan, a Master and a Counseling certification from Centro Berne in Milan (present in the Italian counselors list: Assocounseling), a Master and a Coaching certification from In Coach Academy and the Affiliate coaching qualification from Columbia University.
