Aika Aigerim Bolat is Lecturer of Public Policy at SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Her collaboration with SDA Bocconi began in 2015. She was an independent consultant helping to recruit participants for MPA programme, building partnerships with governments in Asia, sourcing scholarships for the MPA students and setting up double degree programmes. In addition, she designs and teaches Executive Programmes for managers of governments and NGOs in Central and North East Asia, Russia and China.
Her research activities focus on public policy and policy analysis; policy communication; marketing of public policy education; women’s role in public policy; women’s leadership in Asia; mining and natural resources management.
She is the author of numerous articles on the subject. Her works have been published in Political Review, Public Administration and Civil Service Journal, Public Administration and Public Service journal of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan, Global is Asian journal of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS, Adjacent Government UK online and The UB Post, among others. She presented her papers at Women’s Leadership Symposium at Oxford University, at numerous international conferences at the Almaty Management University in Kazakhstan and at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in 2017. She represented SDA Bocconi at the International Network of Government Schools conference in Rome in 2016.
Aika earned her Bachelors’ Degree in International Relations from the National University of Mongolia, attended Post Graduate Program in Economics at VSE Prague and Charles University in Czech Republic and obtained a Master of Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
