Stefano Breschi
Full Professor
Biography
Stefano Breschi is a Professor of Applied Economics since 2011 and he is the Director of the Invernizzi Center for Research on Innovation, Organization, and Strategy (ICRIOS) at Università Bocconi. Between 2004 and 2010 he was Director of the MSc Program in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology (EMIT) at Università Bocconi.
He has various Undergoing research projects: Using Twitter data to assess showcasing strategies in entrepreneurs’ quest for venture capital funding, Immigrant Inventors and the US technological leadership in the twentieth century using IPUMS Census data, Job Titles and Mobility of Knowledge Workers and Chinese Returnees and Innovation: Is There a Synergy Effect?. He is the author of numerous articles on his topics of interest. His works have been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, and the Journal of Economic Geography, among others.
He got his PhD from the University of Pavia, and a MSc degree in Technology Policy and Innovation Management, from MERIT, University of Maastricht.
