Massimo Morelli

Massimo Morelli is a Professor of Political Science and Economics at Università Bocconi. He is a Fellow of Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, Fellow of the Econometric Society, Research Fellow at Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER), and Baffi Carefin Center, director of the Pericles unit. Before joining Università Bocconi he was Professor of Political Science and Economics at Columbia University from 2007 to 2014. His research interests are in game theory, mechanism design, political economy, governance institutions, development economics, behavioral and public economics, comparative politics and international relations. He is the author of numerous articles on his topics of interest. His works have been published in the Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and American Journal of Political Science. He got a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 1996 and a Doctorate from University of Pavia in 1995 and an MSC in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in 1991.
