Mario Daniele Amore

Mario Amore is Full Professor at the Department of Management & Technology at Bocconi University and at SDA Bocconi, where he serves as Director of the Master in Corporate Strategy (MISA). He earned his PhD from Copenhagen Business School and is Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), and board member of the International Corporate Governance Society (ICGS).

His research primarily focuses on corporate governance and family business, with broader interests in the interactions between strategy, finance, and innovation, as well as in the behavioral aspects of corporate decision-making. His work has been published in leading journals in management, economics, and finance, including Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Law & Economics. The findings of his research are also frequently featured in international business and finance media outlets.

He serves as Associate Editor of Management Science and the Journal of Corporate Finance, and as a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Strategic Management Journal.

He has taught numerous courses in Management, Family Firms, and Econometrics across undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and executive programs.
