Gianmario Cinelli
Assistant Professor of Practice

Biography
Gianmario Cinelli is Assistant Professor of Practice in the Government, Health, and Nonprofit division of SDA Bocconi School of Management.
He teaches Organizational Development and Change Management in Healthcare.
At SDA Bocconi, he is affiliated with CeRGAS (Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management) and OCPS (Observatory on Private Healthcare Consumption). Additionally, he contributes to the OASI Report, Observatory on Italian Healthcare Companies and System.
He has led numerous research, training, and change management projects in the healthcare system and Italian public administration, working with ministries, regions, local authorities, and public and private organizations.
His main areas of scientific interest include: i) artificial intelligence and the transformation of healthcare systems; ii) the evolution of institutional frameworks and regionalization of the national health system; iii) organizational development and change management; iv) management of territorial services and primary care, especially in the implementation of DM 77; v) knowledge management processes and network organization in medical disciplines, particularly oncology.
He is the author of numerous articles on healthcare strategy and organizational development. His work has been published in journals such as Health Policy, Health Services Management Research, Mecosan, Rivista Trimestrale AGENAS, and Economia e Management. He has written policy proposals on the governance of the National Health System, economic support policies for businesses and families during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the introduction of a national service for non-self-sufficient elderly.
He supports startups and companies offering artificial intelligence solutions in healthcare and public administration as an advisor or investor.
He is a member of the Assembly of the Inequalities and Diversity Forum.
Gianmario Cinelli earned a Master's Degree in Economics and Social Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management from Università Bocconi.
