Bruno Busacca
Full Professor

Biography
Bruno Busacca is a Full Professor of the Department of Marketing Università Bocconi.
He was Dean for Development and Alumni Engagement at Università Bocconi from 2016 to 2022, Dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management from 2012 to 2016, member of the Rectoral Committee and the Academic Council of Università Bocconi, from 2012 to 2022. Previously he was director of the Degree in Business Administration and served the School of Management as Director of the Masters Division (2009-2012), Director of Executive Education Custom Programs – Corporate Division (2004-2008), Director of the Marketing Department (1998-2003). He has been head of many research, educational and consulting projects with leading multinational companies.
His research is focused on different areas such as consumer behaviour, strategic marketing, customer value management, customer satisfaction, customer relationship management, strategic brand management and pricing.
He is the author of numerous books, chapters and articles, which have been published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the Journal of Business Research the Journal of Service Management, the Journal of Business and Psychology and the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, among others. He is a member of the scientific committees of Festival of Management, organized by the Italian Society of Management, and of Micro&Macro Marketing. He served the editorial boards of other academic journals, including the International Journal of Marketing Trends, Mercati e Competitività and Economia & Management. He was involved in boards and scientific committees of several academic networks such as the Italian Society of Management, the Italian Marketing Society, the Italian Academy of Management and the First International Network on Trust (FINT). He was also a member of the scientific committee of the New Opera project (New European Wish: Operating Project for European Rail Network), funded by the European Community.
Bruno earned a degree cum laude in Business Administration from Università Bocconi. He attended the International Teachers Programme (ITP) at HEC, Paris and has been a Research Associate at the University of California at Berkeley, School of Business Administration.
