Biography

Aristea Saputo is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Strategy and Operations area at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where she teaches corporate sustainability and business ethics.

At SDA Bocconi, she is also a researcher at the Invernizzi AGRI Lab - Agribusiness Research Initiative and has collaborated with the Sustainability Lab and the Space Economy Evolution Lab. Within the AGRI Lab, she conducts studies for companies, public entities, and non-profit organizations about corporate social and environmental sustainability, and business ethics in innovation, value chain management, and strategic planning.

Aristea was a co-author of the report "Business for Ocean Sustainability - A focus on the Mediterranean Sea", of its second edition "Business for Ocean Sustainability - A global perspective", which was presented at the United Nations World Oceans Day 2020, and of the article "Business for ocean sustainability: Early responses of ocean governance in the private sector" (Ambio), which was selected among the winners of the Financial Times Responsible Business Education Awards in the category "Best academic research with societal impact."

She holds a Master's degree in Economics and Social Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication, both from Università Bocconi. She was also a visiting student at Sciences Po and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of St. Gallen.
