Luis is a VP and CIO of Visteon Corporation. He assumed his current role in 2021 after almost 20 years at Tenaris where he was the Chief Process and Information Officer.  Luis joined Tenaris in 2001 to be part of the team managing the merge of several mills around the globe. He started his career leading the efforts that integrated the Company’s Commercial and Supply Chain operations. Years later, he moved into the IT department to continue his work managing several teams.

His expertise is focused on business process management, information technology, operations and logistics management, and management of large and complex transformation projects. During the years at Tenaris, he held several positions in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT (applications and infrastructure) and business process transformation roles. Previously, he served as Head of the Commercial and Strategic Planning for Siderar, and Business Development Manager for the Automotive Business unit. He started his career working on R&D on Solar Energy topics and then switched to Tribology research in steel.

Luis holds a Physics degree from the University of Buenos Aires where he received the National Atomic Energy Commission (Argentina) scholarship , and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received the Rocca Fellowship.

He is married and has two teen daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities and has been a trekking guide in Patagonia for many years while in school.
