Charlotte Lindsey-Curtet is currently an independent consultant in the humanitarian & development sectors specialising in digital transformation and management. Since July 2020, she is consulting for the Swiss NGO to write their digital transformation strategy and has recently joined an AI start up to work on strategy and business development.

Prior to this, Charlotte was a director for 10 years for one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world, holding the positions of Director of digital transformation and data and director of communication and information management for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). In these roles, Charlotte developed the ICRC’s first digital transformation strategy and ICT and Information Management strategy and also developed the ICRC's data capacities in data analytics and data governance, as well as the design, testing and build of the ICRC's capacity for digital response, services and engagement with stakeholders. Her work focussed on enabling the ICRC's capacity for digital transformation as a trusted manager of data, particularly through data protection. Over the last 10 years, her responsibilities were for the ICRC’s digitalization and data, public and corporate communication, archives and information management, ICT and data protection. She joined the ICRC in 1993 and has previously held the following positions: deputy director of communication, deputy head of division for policy and movement relations, head of the women and war project, as well as serving for five years in various ICRC field delegations. Charlotte is currently studying for a Digital Excellence diploma and has a degree in business studies and a master's degree in communication management. She is the author of Women Facing War and was a Tedx speaker in 2018. In 2019, she was recognized as one of 10 Digital Transformer’s in Switzerland for knowing how to transform an organization (100 Digital Shapers of Switzerland) and also awarded the prize for a digital innovation by Digital Switzerland.
