Yvon Le Roux is currently an Independent Management Consultant/Advisor. He is assisting companies in multiple areas such as scaling of management, understanding and resolving the complexity of the challenge related to cyber security and engaging in the public sector and emerging markets. The companies he is engaging with are medium to large size organisations based in the US, Africa and Europe. 
 Previously he was part of Cisco’s Threat Response, Intelligence and Development, (TRIAD) leadership team as Vice President of the global cyber security initiative in November 2011. In this capacity, Le Roux was driving a unified products and services strategy for the cyber security business and establishing Cisco’s cyber presence.
 Yvon Le Roux is a cyber security thought leader responsible for interfacing with governments and private leaders. He additionally served as Cisco’s Executive Sponsor for major accounts worldwide, including European Institutions (e.g., European Commission and European Parliament), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Australian Department of Human Services, and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Welfare and Labour.


Prior to joining Cisco’s Threat Response, Intelligence and Development (TRIAD), he led the Smart+Connected Communities initiative as Vice President of the Global Public Sector organization. This initiative was part of Cisco's overall approach to making IP-based solutions akin to a fourth utility service for integrated city management.
 Previously, he served as Vice President of Cisco’s Africa Levant region in Emerging Markets from 2008 to 2011. The region included Levant, Egypt, and all of Africa (including North Africa and South Africa).


Prior to joining emerging markets in 2008, Le Roux was Vice President, Public Sector for Cisco’s EMEAR starting in 2003 where he successfully developed and led the strategy, sales and marketing programs with strong focus on government, healthcare, education and defense markets. Yvon Le Roux joined Cisco in 1996 as Vice President for EMEA South, which included France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and South Africa. Prior to joining Cisco, he held a number of senior positions at IT companies, spanning several territories. Yvon Le Roux is an Executive Fellow at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He was also a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in France, and in his various capacities, he was a speaker at several WEF regional forums. Yvon Le Roux holds dual nationality, British and French. A native French and English speaker, he also has knowledge of Italian having in Italy 4 years. He has lived and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, France and Italy; he is now based in Paris.
