THE ITALIAN LEGACY OF MILANO CORTINA 2026 | Celebrating the 25th anniversary of FIFA Master at SDA Bocconi

An anniversary event to mark 25 years of the prestigious FIFA Master program, organised by the Centre International d’Etude du Sport (CIES) in partnership with De Montfort University (UK), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
Following Rome 1960 and Turin 2006, Italy is set to host the Olympic Games for the third time with Milano Cortina 2026—the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. This iconic event will create both tangible and intangible impacts, leaving a lasting legacy on the nation’s culture and economy.
To celebrate the FIFA Master’s 25th anniversary, SDA Bocconi aims to highlight the Games’ values as one of the most iconic and significant sporting events Milan has ever hosted. Academics, experts, athletes, and representatives from MICO26 will present and discuss the various legacies that the Games are poised to bring to Italy, showcasing the event’s beauty and significance beyond medals and performances.
The event is free upon online registration.
