StrongHer TogetHer

The Role of Companies and Managerial Tools in Safety and the Prevention of Violence Against Women
Women’s safety and the prevention of all forms of violence are critical issues in the workplace as well as in the broader community. As economic and social actors, companies can play a concrete role in shaping the quality of organizational environments and the well-being of the contexts in which they operate.
The third edition of StrongHer TogetHer offers a space for dialogue that brings together research, companies, associations, and Faculty, with the aim of discussing how welfare policies, managerial tools, and organizational choices can translate into effective actions for prevention.
The discussion begins with the presentation of SDA Bocconi research findings on the potential of technological tools in relation to perceptions of insecurity in public spaces. Building on the data, the event provides insights, examples, and perspectives to better understand how organizations can act in a responsible and structured way on issues of safety and the prevention of gender-based violence — exercising a more aware social role and contributing to the creation of safer environments in the workplace and in society, for the benefit of all.
