Open Class EMMAS | Fare rete, essere rete

On 18 December 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, the SDA Bocconi Campus in Rome will host the EMMAS Open Class, an opportunity to discover the Executive Master in Management of Healthcare and Social Care Organizations (EMMAS).

Protecting and improving health is no longer the responsibility of a single organization. Building networks means creating alliances, fostering collaboration, and developing relationships around a shared purpose. Being part of a network goes beyond occasional cooperation: it means recognizing one's role within a broader ecosystem, taking responsibility for creating value together with other stakeholders, and developing governance models capable of coordinating distributed expertise, resources, and responsibilities.

During the session, Valeria D. Tozzi, EMMAS Director and Professor of Healthcare Management at SDA Bocconi, will explore the role of networks as an organizational paradigm for addressing the major challenges facing today's healthcare sector. Through practical examples and real-world experiences, participants will examine the factors that make networks truly effective, including a shared vision, trust, the ability to manage interdependencies, and the leadership required to align diverse stakeholders around common goals.

The Open Class is also an opportunity to discover EMMAS's learning model, which views networking not only as a learning experience, but also as a core managerial capability and a long-term asset that continues to grow through its alumni community.
