MCF Class - Case study: Sagat
The course aims to understand financial tenets, including objectives of corporate finance, stakeholders’ wealth and value creation, risk-return trade-off, capital budgeting decisions, cost of capital, capital asset pricing model, cost of equity, optimal capital structure. It also helps to understand their interrelationships and appropriate applications. Candidates will gain exposure to problem solving and simulations taken from a real work context, and will be able to analyse financial and business situations using data, knowledge of theory and logic, to make recommendations for problem solving and decision making, and to break down or put together ideas and information to clarify relationships and produce conclusions and plans.
