During the PreCOP Summit 2021, which will take place in Milan, the SEE Lab (the Space Economy Evolution Lab of SDA Bocconi School of Management, sponsored by its Founding Members Avio, Sitael, Space Alliance and Stellar Project) will dedicate its Annual Conference to exploring the potential of outer space solutions to climate change.
National and international experts will convene to discuss the contribution of satellite services to combating climate change, especially by monitoring ecosystems status and physical events, and the potential of space-based solar power as a renewable long-term energy source.
The Conference will be part of the All4Climate – Italy 2021, an initiative encompassing the full lineup of climate events taking place in Italy this year. Its goal is simple: to make 2021 a landmark year for climate ambition. Launched by the Italian Ministry for Ecological Transition in collaboration with the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate and with the participation of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, All4Climate aims to foster proactive dialogue on the challenges of the climate crisis and to deliver on the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
The event is free upon registration.
