The Nobel Peace laureate, Muhammad Yunus, said “the quickest way to get out of poverty right now is to have one mobile telephone”.

In particular, is the digital revolution the crucial instrument to push women’s empowerment?

We will discuss this topic taking a global perspective. We will start from recent and exciting research findings, focusing the importance of reducing digital divides and on the role of companies in the digital sector. Then, we will talk about the broader challenges and opportunities for businesses.
