The DBA admission process is rigorous and designed not only to determine whether you are qualified for the DBA program, but also whether the program will meet your expectations and goals. The selection process is based on an overall analysis of various factors including skills, talents, and formal pre-requisites.

What we need from you
To complete your application, you must upload the following documents to the relevant section of the Online Application portal and submit them to the Admissions team.
Once received, applications will be screened for fit and quality by the Admission Committee and candidates could be invited for an interview with the Selection Committee and for the final interview with the DBA Program Director.
Admissions results
As soon as the selection process is completed, you will receive a formal letter from the Admissions committee notifying you of the decision. Selection results are never communicated by telephone. All decisions made by the Admissions committee are final.
The selection process will result in one of the following outcomes:
- Admission: You will receive the official admission notice along with the participation contract. You must confirm your participation by the deadline specified by the Admissions committee.
If all available spots have been filled, the school may place you on a waiting list or offer admission for the following edition.
Admission to the program is valid for the year the application is submitted. However, you can request deferment to the following year, but approval of deferment is on a case-by-case decision by the Admissions committee.
- Non-Admission: Admission to the program is highly selective. Our selection process evaluates each candidate’s individual profile while also considering the overall composition of the DBA class, which must be consistent with the quality and diversity the school requires. While we acknowledge the significant effort all candidates invest in the application and the selection process, we do not provide personalized feedback to non-admitted candidates.
How to apply
The application form is available exclusively online and must be completed with accurate and precise information regarding your personal and professional experiences and your reasons for attending the program.
Please note that the application portal is a separate platform, so your SDA Bocconi website (www.sdabocconi.it) credentials are not to be used. Please proceed with a new registration.
- All required documents must be uploaded to the relevant section of the Application portal and submitted to the Admissions team.
- Applicants may track the receipt of their application and monitor their application status directly through the online application.
- Additional documents can be uploaded after the initial application submission.

We look for highly motivated candidates with well-defined goals
The application form is available exclusively online and must be completed in English. The selection process begins on 30 January 2025. Final application deadline: 29 May 2025.
Applications are examined on a rolling basis. Those received well in advance of the deadline have a greater chance of being admitted. Therefore, it is in your best interest to submit your application as early as possible.
Only submitted applications will be considered for the selection process.
Enrollment
Upon confirmation of your admission, you will have access to the enrollment online application that must be completed through our admission portal by the deadline indicated in the admission’s letter. To complete the enrollment process, you have to pay the first sub-installment payment.
To complete your enrollment, we need to verify your diploma and transcript with your former university. If they offer a digital document delivery service or can confirm your diploma by email, please let us know, as either option will be accepted.
When this is not possible, in some remaining cases (more frequently for extra UE students), you may be also required to send by land mail the official/original or certified degree certificate/transcript.
