Teaching methods and evaluation process

MAFED requires a full-time commitment.

The class schedule is as follows:

  • Three morning sessions (8:30am - 10:00am; 10:15am – 11:45am; 12:00 noon – 1:30pm)
  • Eventually, one afternoon session (2:30pm – 4:00pm)

The majority of teaching consists of structured lectures, often supported by additional seminars. The pedagogical style will be a hybrid of lectures, exercises, and guest speaker sessions. Participants will be provided with the practical tools needed to analyze specific problems and take concrete decisions in the fashion and design sectors. The lecture style tends to be participatory and lectures frequently incorporate case analysis and discussions, often involving the protagonists from real business. There are also required group work sessions, field investigations and individual research.
