Standard and applied research

The Claudio Dematté Research Division is a platform designed to develop managerial knowledge.

The division’s Scholar Research, aimed at scholars, consultants and managers, is advanced and multidisciplinary, and is divided into two categories:

Standard research, which consists of high-profile projects conducted in line with international research standards. The objective of standard research is the publication of articles in leading academic journals and books. By doing so, SDA Bocconi establishes itself as an international center for the development of new knowledge in the area of management.

Applied research, where projects are aimed at influencing management practices. This type of research is primarily focused on concrete problems facing managers in different industries.

The outcomes of each research project performed by the Claudio Dematté Research Division are published in the Knowledge Center.
