Knowledge is at the heart of every company’s capacity for innovation.
In order to improve and to achieve their own objectives, public and private enterprises, authorities, and financial institutions need to have access to dependable data, information, and scenarios developed by the School’s reliable tools and methods, and through constructive confrontation with professors, experts, and academics, but also with those who work on the same markets in complementary positions or as competitors.
The Research Lab of the Claudio Dematté Research Division are laboratories for developing and sharing knowledge on issues concerning:
- the areas in which the School operates: administration, finance, auditing and control, organisation and personnel, finance and private equity, information and communication technology and business intelligence, marketing and retailing, logistics, operations and production;
- the leading industries in the various sectors, including banking, insurance and real estate, the public administration, fashion and luxury;
- issues of current relevance, such as diversity management.
The aim of the Research Lab’ activities is to provide systematic multi-year monitoring over various periods of a phenomenon, which may be agreed upon in terms of content and instruments with the principals. The purpose is to increase levels of knowledge through the output of their research activities (e.g. research reports and publications) and through events restricted to partners or open to the public.
The Research Lab are sponsored by groups or by individual businesses/institutions who pay a participation fee or through donations, which vary according to the type of Observatory.
