Targeted research is designed for those businesses, authorities, and institutions that need:

a) to acquire special knowledge to support their strategies, decision-making, practical policies, innovative projects, and changes;

b) to develop, update, and innovate their knowledge, procedures and processes, also in special operational fields and sectors, by commissioning studies for mass circulation through publications, conferences, and workshops;

c) to share a platform of knowledge with a select group by commissioning studies concerning issues that characterise particular sectors, geographical areas, or functions.
