Learning Model

Teaching methods and evaluation process

The MIHMEP program requires both total dedication and maximum intellectual commitment. Class attendance is compulsory, and, therefore, the Master is incompatible with any kind of professional activity.
Teaching involves a mixture of lectures and practical sessions together with group projects and seminars with an emphasis on discussion and problem solving. These diverse methods provide students with opportunities for active and critical participation and strengthen teamwork and interpersonal skills. In addition to normal teaching activities, the MIHMEP program also includes initiatives coordinated by teachers, aimed at enabling participants to assimilate the content of the courses and apply it to real cases.

Each participant is thus enriched by a unique experience based on a continuous exchange of information, on-going dialogue with the world of business and research, and debate and discussion with teachers and fellow students from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

University resources
During their studies, the MIHMEP students will be able to take advantage of the CERGAS (Centre for Research on Healthcare Management) Library. The Library with over 6,000 books and journals specializes in management and economics, with a focus on healthcare, public administration, and non profit organizations.

Tutorship
A tutor dedicated to MIHMEP supervises participants throughout the programme and offers personalized advice on specific problems they may have.
