The Master of Management in Food & Beverage is an intense full time program and therefore your commitment must be full time as well.
There are different types of teaching methods. You will attend class sessions and have case study discussions and assignments in small teams in and out of class. These will be integrated with simulations, role-playing exercises and business games. You will also have presentations, Question & Answer and Business Cases sessions from well experienced and recognized professionals faculty members and qualified business guest speakers.
Attendance five days a week is mandatory, usually Monday through Friday; 8.45 to 16.00. Thus you must consider at least six hours of classroom activity per day, plus team work and hours of study at home or on campus with your colleagues.
The SDA Bocconi campus is equipped with computers, printing/copy centers, library and plenty of area for group and individual study. There is WIFI throughout and our IT department is available to assist you with a variety of IT needs.
This Master features direct and practical approaches to matters related to the F&B industries as well as Food Service and Hospitality Business. Direct contact with real world projects is fundamental to gain a keen perception of what the companies look for and what the main issues and problems are in managing these types of firms.
In their totality, the projects related to real cases, the in-house International and Italian firm presentations, the product tasting sessions and company visits all will allow you to build solid foundation. You will know the issues and challenges they face. You will learn their strategies and the choices they have made to best fit their company culture.
