What do I think about the Master of Management in Food & Beverage…

I came here because I wanted to learn the tools and methods of the Business, to be able to identify and evaluate key decisions in the sector of Food & Beverage and its role in Hospitality.

After all this is a course in Management, the skills and methods I’ve learned can be applied anywhere my career takes me. I wanted to learn from the diversity of my colleagues and from living the "Italian Culture".
We had access inside companies that otherwise is unattainable.
This has truly been an Intense, amazing and unforgettable year! I would do it again if I could!

Eugenio Meloni - Italy

MFB 1

My name is Eugenio Meloni and I’m a MFB1 graduate. Before this Master I dedicated many years of my life in studies related to food and beverage and in practical experiences on this field. I’m a PhD in Agricultural sciences and during my studies and my previous employment experiences I travelled all over Europe, Africa and South America.
Although I already had a deep knowledge of what product is (food or beverage), this program allowed me to meet companies I had only read or heard about. It gave me also the tools for a more structured approach in terms of management and business administration. More over, by choosing this program I reached a strong competence in a new managerial and professional point of view.

We learned how to combine different tools as accounting or supply chain management or business modelling in order to have success in company management, or in creating different strategies for growth and internationalization path. In addition, a strong resuming of marketing, communication, new product development or sales management contributed to enrich the overview of a modern, dynamic and international business management.

Hours and hours of classes and so many trips and company visits gave me the chance to be part of a strong, dynamic and international group of classmates, which helped me in expanding my personal and professional network.

Even though the master required hard work and a lot of studying it also included many tasting sessions and workshops on how to create products and help companies in their process for an international development approach.

We worked a lot “on the ground” giving our contribution and at the same time learning how to work together in a multicultural team.

I can sincerely recommend this program to everyone who wants to improve his/her knowledge on this field and want to do so by being a part of an excellent Business School.
