Admissions: Selection Criteria

The three phase selection process begins in March of each year and finishes in November of the same.

PHASE I -  Pre-Screening
Upon receipt, your application will be pre-screened and usually within 2 to 6 weeks the School will notify you if your profile is going to be considered for the next phase of the selection process.

It is important to receive your request as soon as possible since early applications have a better chance than others of being accepted, due to the limited number of candidates the program can accept.

PHASE II - Candidates are carefully selected on the basis of an extensive review of

  • Skills
  • Talents & Characteristics
  • Formal pre-requisites:

         Degree in any discipline
At least 1 year of real work experience
TOEFL (94/120 internet based) or IELTS (7/9) test results
GMAT is not mandatory, but it is considered a
         distinctive characteristic

Individual characteristics as well as personal interests are fundamental to give us an idea of who you are as a person: involvement, enthusiasm, flexibility, motivation and focus are all factors in selecting a candidate.

If it is determined that you are the candidate we are looking for we will contact you to continue through the next phase.

    PHASE III - One-to-One Interview
Once your application has been approved at Phases I & II, you will be contacted for an interview which will be held at SDA Bocconi in Milan or, in special cases, remotely (in person or webcam).

    Final Selection Results
Once the selection process is complete, candidates will be informed in writing of their acceptance for the Candidature of the Master of Management in Food & Beverage.
